It was a beautiful winter day for the Collingwood Downtown Santa Claus Parade, and the spirit of the season was alive in Downtown Collingwood.
The crowds enjoyed a magical, light-filled parade as one of the highlights of a day filled with Christmas celebrations.
The street was packed with people after the parade, as the day finished with the official lighting of the Christmas tree to officially launch the holiday season in our community.
Many commercial businesses, non-profit organizations, and youth groups presented entries that celebrated the holiday season with music and lights. The theme of this year’s parade was a ‘Gingerbread Christmas’ and everyone embraced the theme with amazing and imaginative floats.
Thanks to all the participants and congratulations to the winners.
