The Cook Farmhouse has been temporarily saved from demolition.
According to Simcoe.com, Wasaga Beach council agreed to consider selling the building on Klondike Park Road to Judy Wales at its meeting yesterday.
The local woman had expressed interest in restoring the property.
Council had been set to ratify a staff recommendation to tear down the farmhouse, after learning it would cost over 300-thousand dollars to repair.
