Southern Georgian Bay OPP are investigating a fail-to-remain collision involving a pedestrian in the early hours of Saturday morning.
Police were called to the parking lot of a convenience store on Midland Ave in Midland.
Both the vehicle and the pedestrian had fled the scene before officers arrived. Police then determined that a man had been struck by a pickup truck and had received significant injuries.
The vehicle involved is described as a white Dodge pickup.
