As the end of the school year fast approaches, you may be looking for things to keep the kids busy and the Georgian Triangle Humane Society can help!
Registration is now open for their Summer Programs! These in-person sessions focus on promoting the human-animal bond through animal interactions and connected with other like-minded people.
These programs are facilitated at the GTHS Animal Care Centre as well as off-site.
The programs currently offered are:
The GTHS Experience
– Located at the Animal Centre, participants will shadow Molly, Humane Education Coordinator, so they can assist her in a variety of shelter animal care tasks including feeding, enrichment, wellness exams and so much more!

Beautiful Joe Park Tours & Activities
– Participants will explore nature, paint rocks, and spend time with other animal lovers so they can learn about compassion and empathy for all living things while having fun outdoor.
Youth Club
– Time spent with live shelter animals with a focus on activities to prepare youth for their future.
Story Time at the Blue Mountains Library
– Join Molly, and her beautiful dog, Sasha, for storytelling and dog cuddles.
