A couple of new schools are going to be opening in Wasaga Beach over the next few years.
The chair of the Simcoe County District School Board recently appeared before council to provide an update on the board’s plans for the town.
Jodi Lloyd outlined the status of the new elementary school in the Sunnidale Trails subdivision, which slated to be open in September 2023, and confirmed that the board is hoping to have a high school open in Wasaga Beach for the 2029-2030 school year.
