Owners will be paying more to license their business in Wasaga Beach.
On Tuesday afternoon, Committee of the Whole voted unanimously in favour of raising the fees, across the board, by 40 percent.
A staff report states that business license fees haven't been looked at since 2007.
Also new is a one or two year license option for retailers.
The committee has chosen to go with a three-year phased-in increase in business licensing fees to start in January 2020 and end in January 2022.
This still needs to be approved by full council.
