Collingwood | by Catherine Thompson
Volunteers needed to help depave old asphalt at Heritage Park.

An old worn tennis court in Collingwood is being turned into a community space.

Volunteers are needed to help depave 110 square metres of old asphalt at Heritage Park on High Street, by the firehall and between the baseball diamonds.

The former tennis court is being turned into a community garden which will be open to single moms living in the new social housing apartment complex just down the street.

The depaving is on Wednesday, August 14 starting at 9 a.m.
