Two Collingwood business women are collecting donations for the victims of the area labour trafficking ring.

Owner of Blink Eyewear, Jessie Strype, says she and owner of Homme Femme, Heather Favalaro, are collecting clothes including winter coats and boots for the victims.

Strype says she has been told there are 16 women and 24 men as well as a four year old boy.

They are collecting toys and books for him as well as clothing.

They also need toiletries and are hoping someone can donate some Spanish/English dictionaries.

Strype says items can be dropped off at her store, Blink Eyewear at 315 Hurontario Street, Tuesday to Thursday between 10 am and 6 P.M.

Heather Favalaro's store, Homme Femme, at 69 Hurontario, is accepting donations Monday to Friday 10 am to 6 P.M.
